The short version
- Pronto uses your data only to do the tasks you ask for. No ads, no selling data, no profiling.
- It reads Gmail and Calendar only when a task needs them, and it can create email drafts but never send.
- Your requests are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to plan and carry out tasks.
- Data is stored on a server in Bengaluru, India. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
Who runs Pronto
Pronto is a tool from benchbay.dev, run by Madhusudhan Aithal in Bengaluru, India. For anything about your data, including complaints, write to hello@heypronto.app. This address also serves as the grievance contact under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Pronto doesn't use your data for advertising, doesn't sell it, and doesn't build profiles of you beyond the facts you ask it to remember.
How AI is involved
Pronto uses Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's API to understand requests, plan steps and operate its browser. The relevant parts of your messages, and of the email, calendar or web content a task needs, are sent to Anthropic for processing. Under Anthropic's commercial terms for its API, this content is not used to train Anthropic's models.
AI can make mistakes. That's why the actions that matter (payments, final submits, calendar changes, sites you haven't approved) always come to you for a decision, and why you should check important details such as names, dates and seat numbers.
Google user data
When you connect Google, Pronto asks for permission to read your Gmail, create Gmail drafts, and view and edit your Calendar events. It uses this access only to perform tasks you request.
Pronto's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is not used for advertising, is not sold, is not used to train general AI models, and is not read by people except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires it.
You can remove Pronto's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party access page.
Services that process data for Pronto

Websites that Pronto opens on your behalf receive what any visitor's browser sends, plus what you ask Pronto to enter, such as a booking reference.
Storage and retention
Pronto's data is stored on its server in Bengaluru. During the preview, task history and browser step logs are kept so that problems can be investigated. Saved facts stay until you clear them with /forget, and standing permissions until you clear them with /revoke. Server backups are kept for 7 days.
You can ask for any or all of your data to be deleted by writing to hello@heypronto.app. It will be deleted from the live server promptly and will drop out of backups within 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data Pronto holds about you, correct it, or have it erased, and you can withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the bot, removing Google access, and asking for deletion. If you're not satisfied with a response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The server accepts only encrypted administrative connections, Pronto's admin views are not exposed to the internet, and access tokens are stored with restricted file permissions. Only the operator can access the server.
Children
Pronto is not for anyone under 18.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics and loads nothing from other companies. Its fonts are hosted on the same server.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Pronto will tell you in Telegram before the change applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
